No Such Luck (Alternative ending, my version) (2024)

I know, I am EXTREMELY late to the party, and I’ll admit that this was pointless, but hear me out. I have seen and heard about a lot of alternative endings to NSL, and a lot turn out to be fails. But the thing is, I’ve wanted to do this for months. And when I came up with the idea, I knew I had to write it as soon as possible. Again, sorry it’s so late, and I sincerely do wish I had thought of this sooner since I don’t think anyone is doing this anymore, but I just really wanted to get it off my chest. I don’t expect it to be good, I just felt like doing an alternative ending. So consider this as a fourth fanfic of mine.

Lola: Hey, Lincoln!( shouting) Put the head back on before we get stung by a jellyfish!(The rest of the family is enjoying their time with beach activities.)

Lincoln: (to the viewers) But unfortunately, only when I'm in the squirrel suit. (puts the head back o; An iris comes on Lincoln's exasperated face, pauses for a moment... but then he gets a call on his walkie talkie)

Clyde: Lincoln! Come in, Lincoln!

Lincoln: Ah! Pardon me a sec. (Struggles to reach for his pocket with his suit, then reached for it; Presses the button) Clyde?

Lola: DON’T DO IT! You might break the connection!

Lincoln: Let’s Me talk to Clyde! Jeez! (Answers) Hey, Buddy. What’s up?

Clyde: Well, me and my dads are going to go to the beach tomorrow. I was wondering if you would join us? We will go for ice-cream, play volleyball, and go swimming!

Lincoln: Not right now, Clyde. (Sighs) I’m not in the mood.

Clyde: What happened?

(After explaining to Clyde what happened)

Lincoln: And now I’m in this squirrel suit.

Clyde: Well... That was shocking. Lying like this was not a good idea, but being forced to be in a squirrel suit like that? That is just harsh!

Lincoln: I just wish there was a way I can prove to my sisters I am good luck, and make them stop this “bad luck” nonsense.

Clyde: Well... don’t worry. I don’t think you’re bad luck.

Lincoln: Thanks, buddy.

Clyde: You’re welcome. You still want to come?

Lincoln: Yeah. And I think I have an idea on how they can stop.

Clyde: Can I come?

Lincoln: No thanks. I can do it myself. What if they think I’m only good luck with you around?

Clyde: Fair Points. Well, good luck, Lincoln. No pun intended.

Lincoln: That’s okay, and thanks.

(Lincoln shuts off the WT An day his sisters look at him in shock)

Lynn: You are coming to the beach with Clyde tomorrow?!

Lola: Are you out of your MIND?!

Lori: What if you give HIM bad luck!

(The sisters complain)

Lincoln: Guys! STOP!!! (They Do So) I will not believe this luck nonsense any longer! So you know what I’m gonna do?

Luna: What is it, dude?

(Lincoln takes off the squirrel suit causing the sisters to look even more shocked)

Lynn Sr.: You... you took the suit off...

Lynn: Ugh! Now look what you did!

Lincoln: Guys! Here me out! I think I have an idea on how to prove I am NOT bad luck after all!

(The sisters and parents think about this, then they reluctantly agree)

Lincoln: Come with me.

(They all follow Lincoln to an ice-cream vendor near by)

Lola: Ice-cream?

Lincoln: Yes. (To the vendor) 13 ice-creams, please. Make it all... chocolate.

(The vendor give everyone in the family a chocolate ice-cream)

Lisa: I am not so sure about this...

Lana: Me neither. What if our ice-cream falls off and lands on the sand?

Luan: Or melts before we finish?

Lincoln: Just eat the ice-cream.

(The sisters groan and eat their ice-cream; Later, everyone is completely finished with their ice-creams)

Lynn: Y’know... nothing bad happened.

Lucy: Yeah. No ice-cream on the sand.

Leni: Or our hands.

Lincoln: See? Now do you believe me?

Rita: Uh... well...

Lola: I’m still not exactly sure we should believe you.

Lincoln: I thought you might say that. Hang on. (Runs offscreen, then runs back with a volleyball) Volleybll anyone?

Lynn: I do like volleyball. But wait... how will we prove you are not bad luck?

Lincoln: I got it! Lynn, you can team up with me. We can go against everyone. If our team wins, then we can prove it.

Lynn: Well... I guess it’s worth a shot. But also, the ball must not deflate, and the net must not get ruined. Also, the ball can’t get eaten by something, or... anything to ruin the game.

Lincoln: It’s not gonna... whatever. Deal.

(They start playing volleyball, and the Scene cuts to Lincoln and Lynn in one side, and the twins in the other. They start playing, and they seem to be doing well, and nothing bad has happened to the ball, or the net in between. Lincoln jumps for the shot before Lynn could, and he hits the ball really hard, and ends up going past the twins)

Lincoln & Lynn: YES!

Lynn: And nothing happened to ruin the game!

Lincoln: Yep!

(A montage of them continuing to play is seen, and Lincoln and Lynn are winning at every game. And at the end...)

Lincoln: Woo-boo! We beat them every time!

Lynn: And best of all, the ball did not deflate, no time get eaten, and the net is still fine!

Lincoln: See? Told you!

Rita: Well, you sure are proving us wrong, Lincoln.

Leni: Maybe he’s not such bad luck after all.

Lincoln: So, what do you think? You believe me now?

Lola: Well... you’re definitely getting there.

Lynn: Yeah. I think I’m starting to believe you.

Lincoln: Good. Because there is just one more test.

Luna: Which is...

Lincoln: Swimming. If nothing bad happens to us while we swim, the bad luck thing can go away.

Lynn: Sounds like a deal, Lincoln.

(The Louds start to swim in the water, and splashing eachother and having fun)

Lola: This is great!

Lana: I know! (Splashes Lincoln)

Lincoln: Hey! (Laughs, then Lola and Lana and Lincoln splash eachother. Everything is going so well, except...)

Lisa: Oh, no.

Lincoln: What’s wrong?

Lucy: I see a tidal wave approaching to us.

Lincoln: Wait, what?!

(The tidal wave is seen heading towards the shore) Oh, no! Uh... do any of you know how to surf?

Lori: No.

Leni: Nope.

Luna: Sorry, dude.

(All of them say no)

Lynn: Aw man! I knew something bad was gonna happen all along! I knew it!

Lincoln: Everybody Get Out!

(They all start to leave as the wave gets closer. Everybody is able to get out, but their parents are still in the water)

Rita & Lynn Sr.: HELP! HELP!

Sisters: MOM! DAD!

Lynn: I’ll save you! (About to go in, but Lincoln stops them)

Lincoln: No! I’ve been proving I can be good luck long enough, and I am NOT GONNA GIVE UP! (Lincoln rushes somewhere to grab the floaty ring then they see that the wave is almost there’s. Lincoln rushes to the water about to throw the ring in the water)

Rita: Well... I guess this is it. Goodbye, Lynn.

Lynn Sr.: Goodbye, Rita.

(The tidal wave is now close right than before causing Rita and Lynn Sr. to scream; Just then, the floaty ring isn’t seen landing in front of them)

Lincoln: Grab on!

(The parents do so. Then they both swim to the shore just before the tidal wave can let out a humongous SPLASH soaking everyone. The LKs cheer the next hug their parents)

Lori: You’re Literally safe!

Rita: And it’s all thanks to Lincoln.

(The sisters all cheer for Lincoln as he smiles. Later that evening, the Louds All get ready to go back home)

Lincoln: Well, I guess we all learned out lesson.

Lynn: Learn how to surf?

Lincoln: Nope. Don’t believe everything to be good or bad luck just because something bad hasn’t happened.

Lynn: Oh yeah.

Rita: Lincoln? I think we all owe you an apology.

Lynn: Yeah. I am so sorry I believed you were bad luck. I was just paranoid because I lost the one time you came to my game.

Lincoln: It’s okay, Lynn. I forgive you.

Lynn Sr.: And to make it up to you, we’ll buy back all your furniture we sold.

Lincoln: Thanks. Hey, Clyde invited me to go to the beach tomorrow. You all wanna join?

(The sisters and parents all agree to join. The next day, everyone in the family and the McBrides are all having fun at the beach)

Lincoln: (To the viewers) Well, it looks like I did it. I proved to all my sisters that I am not bad luck, and now, everything is back to normal.

Clyde: Hey, guys! I bought you all ice-creams. Want some? I have chocolate flavor.

(The Louds And the McBride all grab some ice-cream)

Lincoln: Ah. Just like the way it should be. (Just then, Lincoln’s ice-cream melts, and falls to the sand. Everyone Gasps) Well... That was sure unlucky!

(They all laugh which ends thefanfic)

Note: The moral was kinda hard to phrase.
