For The Roti
1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 1/2 tsp oil
salt to taste
rice flour (chawal ka atta) for rolling
For The Chatpata Rajma Filling
1 cup soaked and boiled rajma (kidney beans) , lightly mashed
1 tbsp oil
2 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 1/2 cups finely chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/2 cup fresh curds (dahi)
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
To Be Mixed Together Into A Curd Dressing
1/2 cup fresh curds (dahi)
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup grated cucumber
salt to taste
Other Ingredients
4 tsp red chilli-garlic chutney
8 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens

For the roti of rajma wrap gluten free recipe
- For the roti of rajma wrap gluten free recipe | rajma wrap with carrot cucumber spread | rajma roti wrap | gluten free Indian wrap, add 1 cuprice flour (chawal ka atta)in a deep bowl. We have used rice flour as a substitute to wheat flour for gluten intolerant people.
- Add 1 1/2 tspoil.
- Add saltto taste.
- Mix well and knead into soft dough, using enough water.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
- Roll out each portion of the dough into a 200 mm. (8”) diameter circle using a little rice flour for rolling.
- Cook each roti very lightly on a tava (griddle) and keep aside.
For the chatpata rajma filling
- For the chatpata rajma filling of roti of rajma wrap gluten free recipe | rajma wrap with carrot cucumber spread | rajma roti wrap | gluten free Indian wrap, heat 1 tbspoil in a non-stick pan.
- Add 2 tspfinelychopped ginger (adrak).
- Add 2 tspfinelychopped garlic (lehsun).
- Add 1 cupfinelychopped onions.
- Sauté on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
- Add 1/2 tspturmeric powder (haldi).
- Add 2 tspchilli powder.
- Add 1 tbspcoriander (dhania) powder.
- Add 1 1/2 cupsfinelychopped tomatoes. This adds juiciness to the filling.
- Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Add 1 cupsoaked andboiled rajma (kidney beans), lightly mashed for rajma wrap gluten free recipe | rajma wrap with carrot cucumber spread | rajma roti wrap | gluten free Indian wrap.
- Add saltto taste.
- Add 2 tbspchopped coriander (dhania).
- Add 1/2 cupfreshcurds (dahi). This makes the rotis soft.
- Mix well and cook on a medium till the mixture dries up, while stirring continuously.
- Divide the filling into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
For the curd dressing
- For the curd dressing, add 1/2 cupfreshcurds (dahi) in a bowl.
- Add 1/2 cupgrated cucumber.
- Add 1/2 cupgrated carrot.
- Add saltto taste.
- Mix well using a spoon and keep aside.

- To make rajma wrap gluten free recipe | rajma wrap with carrot cucumber spread | rajma roti wrap | gluten free Indian wrap, place a roti on a clean, dry surface.
- Spread 1 tsp of red chilli-garlic chutney evenly over it.
- Place ¼ portion of the chatpata rajma filling in a row in the centre of the roti.
- Spread ¼th of the curd dressing over it.
- Sprinkle 2 tbsp of finelychopped spring onion greens over it.
- Roll rajma wrap gluten free recipe | rajma wrap with carrot cucumber spread | rajma roti wrap | gluten free Indian wrap tightly.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more wraps.
- Wrap a tissue paper around each rajma wrap gluten free recipe | rajma wrap with carrot cucumber spread | rajma roti wrap | gluten free Indian wrap and serve immediately.

Please help how to make soft rice roti like wheat roti

the chawal ke aate ki roti breaks and becomes very stiff and cannot be made into a wrap. what should be done to ensure that the rotis are soft enough to fold them into wrap.

Tarla Dalal    Ensure that the dough is kneaded soft. Also do not roll the rotis very thin. If they are slightly thick as shown in the image above, there are less chances of it breaking or tearing.

Rajma Wrap.. Really a treat to the stomach.. all the flavours.. intact in the rajma.. it was on a spicy side.. but the curd dressing was just too good.. and balanced the taste.. and the most important it is a gluten free recipe.. loved it..

As chatpata is the rajma stuffing in this recipe, equally spicy are these wraps due to the addition of chilli garlic chutney. The curd dressing makes the stuffing moist while the carrot and cucumber give the necessary crunch. Absolutely filling... One wrap is enough to satiate your tummy during snack time..
