How to program a new user code on Kwikset smartcode 888, 909, 910, and 912

The very first thing you need to do is to program the quick set key lock for your Kwikset 888, 910, 912, and kwikset 909 keypad. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Pull off the security screw from the black sleeve (for front door)

How To Program A Mastercode On Kwikset

Programming a mastercode of a kwikset smart lock takes about a minute max. You can use this method on a regular keypad smart lock or a touchscreen one. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Take out the screws of the back panel and remove the cover.

Step 2: Now, press the program button until the LED start flickering green.

Step 3: Give any mastercode you want. Usually, the code is of 4 digits, but it can be 8 sometimes.

Step 4: Press the unlock button and repeat the code.

Step 5: Try out the new code and if it works, you just programmed a new mastercode for the kwikset smart lock.
