Critical:Professionalism,QualityThis hot mess is a three day old faux loc job done by the owner Prisca. $180 + a $30 tip for getting my daughter in on short notice. Days before school starts. It’s ridiculous. The hair started frizzing up and unwinding the first night. I didn’t even bother to call or go back because of everything my daughter told me when I picked her up…. the owner and most of the other braiders in the shop speak French. So they were constantly speaking in their language the entire time they were braiding my daughter’s hair. Not knowing that she’s been studying French since she was 4 years old. She speaks French fluently and understood every negative thing that the owner and the other women had to say about every African American woman that walked into that shop. I’m not sure what the problem is but, I’ll never go back there. This hot mess is a three day old faux loc job done by the owner Prisca. $180 + a $30 tip for getting my daughter in on short notice. Days before school starts. It’s ridiculous. The hair started frizzing up and unwinding the first night. I usually don’t write reviews, let alone on minority run businesses. But, I just can’t get over what an overall terrible experience I had with my passion twists here. Everyone was nice and friendly. However, they 100% did not know what they were doing. I feel like they just thew some hair in my head. I showed them a picture and was ensured they could do the style. 1st, my hair was unraveling the same day I got it done (no knots or rubber bands placed at the end). 2nd, the twisted against the pattern causing the twist to look a hot mess. They tried to blame the hair, however this is the hair I was told to buy. Also, if the hair didn’t work, why put it in my head instead of saying that from the beginning. 3rd, the style looked NOTHING at all like what I asked for or showed (short medium passion twists). I got a head full of small passion twists not done correctly! They offered to fix it, and she really tried her best and my hair was much better. She had to completely redo some twists all together. Overall SAVE your money and go somewhere else, because this was not it. It’s currently 1 week and 2 days and I am taking my hair down. My money completely wasted.

Got my hair braided there yesterday and I LOVE IT! The ladies were nice and on time! The owner is very sweet. She’s my braided for life! I will definitely be going back when it’s time! P. P(the owner) you my girl!

The business is cash only however that is not listed anywhere. The owner yelled at me and charged me $10 more than the original quoted price because we had to use cash app. Mind you she had the app installed on her phone but apparently did not know how to finish setting it up, I helped her set it up and saw she had money piled up in there from other clients. Don’t get mad at me because you’re not tech savvy and have not gotten with the times. HORRIBLE experience would not recommend. It was my first time ever getting my hair braided, and I must say that my experience was GREAT!!! The workers was very professional they kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. I would recommend FLAWLESS to anyone that is looking to get your hair braided. Good job ladies.

I am only giving this place 1 star because I have to in order to write this review. Please please please do NOT go to this place. If you care about the health of your hair, do not walk RUN the other way. I went to this place to get goddess faux locs and was told they could do them. WRONG! I am a hair stylist and first off the lady started braiding my hair while it was damp. Anyone who knows about hair knows that damp natural hair is stretched and will shrink as it dries so if you braid it (with tight extensions) while it is wet, it can cause breakage. When I asked the lady to dry my hair first she seemed to get upset and stated she knew what she was doing but she would dry my hair if I wanted her to. Fine…maybe she felt as if I was undermining her skills Idk but I let it slide. Anyway, to make a long story short, they braided my hair so tight I noticed my scalp was bleeding when I got home. Not only that, after 12 hours of braiding…my locs began to unravel as soon as I got home! I immediately sent a text to the owner with pics. So the next morning, I went to the shop and more than 75% of my locs had unraveled and came out. The owner tried to refuse me a refund stating they wanted to “fix” the problem because the braids were not secured tight enough. Tight enough?!? So my bleeding scalp was not tight enough!?! Wth? I explained that this was bad work period and I could not sit another 12 hours to fix what should have been done right the 1st time. Not to mention, they kept telling me I needed to buy more hair as they were braiding. She finally agreed to give me my money back and was somewhat apologetic but the damage was already done. The style was done incorrectly and the health of my hair was not considered. All bad! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

When I first arrived I asked to go to a private room. The room she took me in was abosolutely horrific. Trash everywhere. The woman saw my reaction to the mess and began to clean up in front of me and brought a chair. After she finished my hair for a wedding she did an AMAZING JOB. I never thought it would be so great. The area or place may not be nice but the workers are super nice and their hair skills are a five star
